Lisa Schaefer is the Chief Designer and Owner of whether bags. She had a vision in 2009 that led to the creation of her debut handbag line, whether bags. The focus of her designs came from a need to be unique, eco-friendly and durable, but also have a stylish flair. Hemp canvas and hemp/organic cotton blended fabrics are featured in her Spring/Summer collection. All of her materials are sourced within the US and bags are produced locally in Chicago. Her debut collection for Fall 2011 includes a special edition collection.

Founded in 2010, whether bags is a line of handbags and utility bags for the urban, hip woman or man who is on the go. Our bags are constructed with sustainable materials such as hemp/cotton blended fabrics to be earth conscious. Each bag is authentically crafted locally in Chicago, IL. All of the material used in whether bags are ethically/sustainably sourced within the USA. We pride ourselves on quality and durability, which is why the whether bag is built to last. It is our aim to use sustainable fabrics whenever possible. whether bags are made wholly or in part by hemp, organic cotton and sustainable products. Lisa is now launching her winter styles.
