Refresh-Her Through the Eyes of Nicole Fende

If you are new to this blog, then you may not have a complete picture of me or what I do, and that’s okay.

To help you out, and to answer some of the questions you might have about my signature program, The Refresh-Her Challenge, that just launched, this post will definitely shed some light on things.

Finance expert and President of Small Business Finance Forum , Nicole Fende, honored me by being one of the Founding Members in The Refresh-Her Challenge, and she has a unique perspective on the deliverables, given that financial ROI is her business specialty.  Who doesn’t want to know whether their time and effort in a peak performance training program was well spent?! A Refreshingly Different Approach to Q and A

Because The Refresh-Her Challenge is still a new program on the horizon, I decided that it might be helpful to create an interactive Forum where you could post any questions that you have about the  program for me to answer here.

To submit a question, all you need to do is leave it in the comments below.  As soon as I am notified of your question, I will post a response to it here.  My goal is to create an ongoing discussion on the in’s and out’s of this program, so that you are clear on the benefits and rewards of your participation in it. What is really important?

On the days that you are buried under your to-do list, feeling financially pinched once again, or are just worn out, you may be left wondering why you do what you do?

No one ever said that being an entrepreneur was the path of least resistance, and it really isn’t.  It’s not a journey for the faint of heart, but can produce joy, the likes of which you’ve never experienced.  You must decide if the trade-off works for you.

Taking Big Steps

Having successfully made it through a much bigger product launch than I have ever attempted before, and feeling a bit worn out from the process, I find myself needing to once again reflect and focus on what’s really important here.

Sure, I’m so excited about launching my signature program, because I know from the women who’ve been through it, how life and business transforming it can be.  Naturally, I’d like to sell out this launch, who wouldn’t?  But more than that, I just want to get back to where my heart is, and that’s being able to work in the trenches with the women I teach.

Focusing on the Right Things

What’s important to me, is being at my best in order to help women learn to be at their best, and reap the rewards of operating at peak performance levels.  That’s what I do.  I’m a performance specialist.  And achieving peak performance is a matter of working from the inside out.

Never does it boil down to what you do on the outside.  Yes, those things are important.  But your ability to attract business and prosperity starts with what’s getting created inside you, your beliefs, your thoughts, your attitude.  The problem is that most women forget how important they ultimately are to the success equation, getting caught up in the mentality that working harder is the answer.

It’s not.  It never has been.  This approach never leads to sustainable financial success.  You find yourself worn out, overwhelmed, empty, frustrated by your lack of results, and no good to your business or anyone else.

Now’s Your Chance

It’s up to you to decide when you’re ready to begin running your business from a position of control and strength for a change, and have the time to focus on what’s most important to you.  Why wait until you reach your breaking point, or worse, are ready to completely throw in the towel?!

In this economy, it’s imperative to invest your money, time and energy wisely, and not be afraid to make changes that can lead to a more solid financial future and freedom.  I am offering a short window of opportunity right now, to women who ARE ready to make a solid investment, and do what it takes to do business a whole lot smarter, finally earning the income they deserve.  Are you ready?

Question of the Week – Mar 28, 2011

This week’s question is –

Choosing the path of the entrepreneurship is not for everyone. Many would tell you that it requires a certain “it” factor, an inner drive, a burning desire, and/or a bit of crazy to start a business. What was the catalyst in your life that drove you onto the entrepreneurial path, and what keeps you on it?

Why should I join the discussion?

Because this online forum is a great place for us to exchange ideas, learn from each other and network. My goal is to unite successful women entrepreneurs to share our insights and solutions to the challenges we most commonly face in our businesses.

How do I get involved?

Every Monday I will post a new Question of the Week. This is a great opportunity for you to bring your expertise to the table. Using the link below, please submit a one paragraph response before the deadline, and the following week I will share our community responses on my blog.

How 41 Business Owners Define Success

Everyone has a set of parameters they use to gauge success in their business, including things like social media metrics, number of sales, profit versus loss, and  customer reach.  For some, these external measures determine their worth as a company.  For others, achievement is defined by something more than numbers.  So last week I asked –

How do you define success in your business?

The responses from our 41 business owners ranged from tracking external measures like sales, referrals, and profit margins.  And there were a range of more intrinsic measures including personal happiness, expertise, and balance, to name a few. The point is that how you define success in your business is personal.  So what holds meaning and value for one person, does not hold true for all.  There is no right or wrong when it comes to how you define overall business success, as long as your measure focuses on the things that you can control.
